Reserve $45 initial
Grades 10 and under.  Rated 1199 and under.  Maximum 88 participants.
Booster $45 initial
Grades 4 through 8.  Rated 799 and under.  Maximum 36 participants.
Primary $45 initial
Grades 3 and under.  No rating restrictions. Unrated participants permitted.  Maximum 72 participants.
Juniors $45 initial
Grades 1 and under.  No rating restrictions. Unrated participants permitted.  Maximum 36 participants.

Time Control: Game/70 +5 second delay in Quads & Future Masters.
Game/60 +5 second delay in Championship.
Game/40 +5 second delay in Reserve, Primary & Juniors.
Game/30 +5 second delay in Booster.
Byes: Half (1/2) point bye requests (1 maximum) are available in any round of a 4-round section.
No byes are offered in Quads or Future Masters.

Notes/Terms:

ON-SITE REGISTRATION FEE (if available): $55. 

Please note, many sections sell-out in advance; on-site registration is limited only to those sections where space remains. *No on-site registration for Quads or Future Masters.

By registering online, you will not need to check in at the registration desk. Upon your arrival, verify that you are on the posted pre-tournament pairing list. Please bring a copy of your confirmation email in the event there is an error.

**USCF-rated, except where noted. Bring clocks and score pads. (Unrated sections do not require clocks.) Chess sets are provided for all sections except for Quads and Future Masters.

PRIZES: Trophies to all players scoring 3 points or more in 4 round sections, and to all players scoring 2.5 points or more in 3 round sections.

Changes: If you need to change sections, or for any other assistance, email hunterchess@gmail.com.

Refunds/Cancellation Policy: If you cannot play in an event you have registered for, you may withdraw by emailing hunterchess@gmail.com PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT and claim a credit for a future tournament during the same academic year. Credits will not be carried over to the next academic year. Emails must be received by 8:30 am on the day of the tournament. NO SHOWS without prior notification forfeit the entry fee. 

You may request a refund for any credit(s) not used by the end of the academic year. Refunds must be requested prior to the last scheduled tournament of the season and will be processed 7 days after the final tournament. To request a refund, email hunterchess@gmail.com. Refunds will be subject to a $10 administrative fee.

Supervision & Photo Release Policy: All participants under 16 must have an adult supervisor during the tournament. The NSCF and/or Hunter Chess does not provide supervision between games. Also note: Photography and/or video recording occurs at most NSCF and/or Hunter tournament events. By registering your child for this event, you hereby give permission for your child's name and/or picture to appear on the NSCF and/or Hunter Chess website/promotion. If for any reason this is not acceptable, please advise tournament staff PRIOR to the first round of the tournament.

Email: The NSCF and/or Hunter Chess will use the email address you provide when registering to contact you personally in support of this event, and via bulk e-mail to share chess news and announce future events and classes. Pairings by Text or Email: The NSCF and/or Hunter Chess will use the telephone number and/or email address you provide when registering to contact you with pairings information during the tournament. You may choose not to receive these notifications. Prior to the first round you will receive a welcome message; just reply STOP to Opt-Out of these notifications.
